The Building Exploratory

Description

After the successfull completion of the Religion & Place website Platform3 built the Building Exploratory's core website and an additional micro site for 'Places of Worship 2009: Hackney and Tower Hamlets'.

The Building Exploratory's site was desiged by their team and built by us using Dreamweaver templates and Macromedia's Contribute.

In 2009 The Building Exploratory extended the Religion & Place project to include a second survey 'Places of Worship 2009: Hackney and Tower Hamlets'. This project investigated the condition and significance of listed places of worship in the two boroughs. 'Places of Worship 2009' was a unique partnership between the Building Exploratory, English Heritage and the Churches Conservation Trust which assessed the condition, use and significance of 63 listed places of worship in the London Boroughs of Hackney and Tower Hamlets with a team of committed volunteers.
