River & Cloth

Description

River & Cloth was an 18-month long educational programme celebrating the enormous contribution and worldwide influence of the Merton textile industry based around the River Wandle - a fast flowing river with a long and important textile industrial history.

Platform3 was commissioned to design and build a website for this project by Merton Council. Features include a Flash interactive map and customisation of an open source Drupal CMS.
